The magical town of San Baltazar Chichicapam (where KAWÍ is produced), aside from being known for its knowledge of cultivation production of Mezcal, is also known for its traditional Zapotec ROOTS (IT’S KAWÍ). For generations, Mezcal has been part of the Zapotec culture & plays an important role in many of its sacred rituals.
